Professional Development

In a partnership with Public Health: Seattle & King County to improve community health, we worked with fifteen Somali Family Child Care providers to improve their best practice as it relates to children being engaged in healthy eating and active living activities. The most beautiful outcome to this effort was the providers connecting the dots to the importance of engaging young children in healthy eating and active living to Early Achievers outcomes for children.
