Finding Quality Child Care Makes a Difference
Nearly 70% of parents place their young children in some type of care—home or center-based, or with friends or family. In partnership with parents, child care providers play a critical role in preparing children for success in school.
Child Care Resources operates the statewide Child Care Aware of Washington Family Center, a free resource for all families seeking child care, early learning information, or financial assistance for child care. In 2015 we served more than 17,000 families across Washington with individualized child care referrals by telephone (available in more than 200 languages) or online.
